Jasmine Uhrik's work focuses primarily on figures and still life, exploring the intersection of form, light, and narrative. she is drawn to tension in pose and in composition and utilises expressive brushstrokes and bold graphic marks that sit in contrast against softer atmospheric passages IN an attempt to distill the essence of a subject, capturing the specific emotion and mood of a fleeting moment.
born in New Zealand and now based in the UK jasmine has spent her creative life across disciplines such as dance, fashion design, interiors and event design - across cities: Paris, Los Angeles, Sydney, London. that breadth of experience is deepend through study at the heatherley school of fine art London.
